Model Details

The HKSR-5804 is a Network Interface option board for the SRW5800 HDCAM-SR studio recorder. With HKSR-5804, the SRW-5800 can transfer Digital Picture Exchange (DPX) files from/to servers or NLE systems over Gigabit Ethernet networks. It allows for easy importing and exporting of 4:4:4 RGB content in high-bandwidth applications such as Digital Intermediate (DI) work. In addition, the SRW-5800 can record and playback uncompressed data of up to 4K (4096 x 3112) full aperture images with HD Video monitoring over HD-SDI output. The SRW-5800 mounts directly on the server/NLE system by NFS protocol for a simplified system. All file transfer functions are operated through generic web browser and no special application software is required. The HKSR-5804 improves VTR utilization by sharing machine resources over the network.

With large cassette BCT124SRL, SRW5800 can record 5 minutes of 4K(4096 x 3112) and 20 minutes of 2K (2048 x 1556) DPX files.

Bit assignment selection (full or head)
ID-LUT (Gamma curve) can be loaded and applied file and/or HD Video Monitor output
