The DCR 6024/6128/6000 supports the HD video formats (1920x1080) as well as
data recording of DPX picture information. Using the same tapedeck and different
processors for DTV and data applications the system can be configured for the
requested application. With the addition of the data switch the same tapedeck can be used to record data or digital HD video in many formats.

The DCR 6024 is a digital component HDTV Cassette Recorder designed for ac-quisition,production, postproduction and archiving of video and audio signals for various HD-standards, according to the SMPTE/D-6 HD-recording format.
